Task Widgets: Column Chart
This is a flexible widget that lets you display task data in a column chart format. It’s ideal for comparing key metrics such as team workload, task statuses across projects, and for spotting bottlenecks in your workflow.

To make setup easier, the following presets are available:
- Active tasks by assignees;
- Overdue tasks by projects;
- Stacked column chart.
How to Install the Widget
The widget is installed on the dashboard. To access it, go to the Home tab and select the desired dashboard.

Once on the dashboard:
- Click the Add Widget button.
- In the Tasks tab, select the Column chart widget.
- Choose one of the available presets or custom settings from the list.

Widget Settings
To customize the chart, open the widget's context menu by clicking on the three dots in the top-right corner of the widget and select Settings.

The following parameters are available in the side panel:
- Widget Name: The title displayed on your dashboard.
- Build columns by: The primary metric for the X-axis (e.g., by Assignee, Project, or Tag).
- Group by: The parameter used to segment the data within each column (e.g., by Status or Priority).
- What to consider: The type of data to calculate — Quantity (number of tasks), Spent time, or Estimated time.
- Number of columns: The maximum number of bars displayed on the chart.
- Number of sections: The maximum number of color-coded segments within a single column.
- Include archived tasks: If enabled, the chart will also include data from completed tasks moved to the archive.
- Display More column: If there are more entities than the set limit, the remaining data will be grouped into a single "More" column.
- Display grouping as More section in columns: Combines smaller data segments within a column into a single "More" section for better readability.

Filter Settings
Below the main settings, you will find the Filter Settings block. This allows you to define exactly which tasks should be included in the chart.
You can filter tasks by:
- Status: "To do," "In progress," etc.
- Name: Task title keywords.
- Owner: The person who created the task.
- Assignee: The person responsible for the task.
- Followers / Collaborators: Other team members involved.
- Start/End Dates: Specific timeframes for task duration.
- Custom Fields: Use the Add Field button to filter by any other available task parameters.

Working with the Chart
The Column Chart is fully interactive:
- Legend: At the bottom of the chart, you will see a legend (e.g., "To do", "In progress"). You can click these items to hide or show specific data groups on the chart.
- Tooltips: Hover over any segment of a column to see the exact numerical value.
- Drill-down: Clicking on any column or segment will automatically open a list of the specific tasks represented by that data.

Copying and Deleting
To create similar charts with different filters (e.g., one for the Marketing team and one for Development), use the Duplicate option in the context menu of the widget. To remove the widget from your dashboard, select Delete.

Available Presets
Presets are not separate widgets, but sets of ready-made configurations. Presets help you better understand what data can be displayed via the chart. Any preset can also be used as a basis for your own settings, and the information within them can be further filtered.
Active tasks by assignees
This preset provides a clear view of workload distribution among your team members. It displays tasks with active statuses — To Do, In Progress, and Approval, grouped by assignee in a stacked format, allowing you to compare individual progress and current availability at a glance.

Overdue tasks by projects
Use this configuration to pinpoint bottleneck projects. The chart visualizes the number of tasks that have already passed their deadlines, broken down by projects. This helps managers quickly identify which areas require immediate attention to get back on track.

Stacked column chart
This preset offers a comprehensive overview of the task lifecycle across the team. It groups tasks by assignee and stacks them using all global statuses, including "Completed." This gives you a full picture of both current workload and total output for each employee.
