Managing Imprest Fund
The Imprest Fund module in the Flowlu mobile app is a dedicated tool for tracking and managing cash advances provided to employees for operational expenses. This guide will walk you through how to navigate the module, create transactions, and manage imprest accounts from your mobile device.
Accessing the Imprest Fund Module
To begin, navigate to the Modules tab in the bottom bar, tap to expand the Finance section, and then select Imprest Fund.

Module Overview
The main screen of the Imprest Fund module provides a complete overview of your accounts.
- Account Selector: Tap the dropdown at the top of the screen to switch between different imprest fund accounts or personal accounts. The selected account's balance is displayed prominently below.
- Transactions List: Below the account card is a chronological list of all transactions associated with the selected account, such as transfers, expenses, and receipts.
Filtering and Sorting Transactions
To locate specific transactions or customize your view, use the options at the bottom of the screen:
- Filters: Tap the Filters button to open a comprehensive list of parameters. You can narrow down transactions by Account, Total, Currency, Assignee, Type, Date, and more. Tap Apply to see the results.
- Settings: Tap the Settings icon next to Filters to open additional view options. Here, you can Group by or change the Sort order of the transactions in your current view.

Creating Transactions and Accounts
To add a new account or record a transaction:
- Tap the blue plus icon in the top-right corner.
- A menu will appear with the following options:
- Create personal account: Set up a new imprest account for an employee.
- Create Refund: Record the return of unused funds from an employee back to a company account.
- Receipt on Account: Document funds being issued to an employee's imprest account.
- Expense: Log an expense paid from an imprest account.
- Select an option and fill in the required details on the creation screen, then tap Save.

Managing an Individual Transaction
Tap on any transaction in the list to open its detailed page. This page is organized with tabs for easy navigation:
- Main: An overview of the transaction's core details, such as Amount, Date, Assignee, and Status.
- Files: View or manage any documents attached to the transaction.

From the detail page, tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner to access more actions, such as Copy link, Share, Duplicate, Edit, or Delete the transaction.
