CRM Widgets: Opportunity Loss Reasons


This guide covers two related widgets for your dashboard: Opportunity Loss Reasons by Owner and Opportunity Loss Reasons.

Widget: Opportunity Loss Reasons by Owner

This widget provides a table that breaks down lost opportunities by the assigned manager (owner) and the specific reason for the loss. It helps you quickly see which loss reasons are most common for individual team members.

The table displays managers who have been assigned to at least one lost opportunity. You can click on a manager's name to see all their lost deals, or click on a number in the table to view the specific opportunities lost by that manager for that particular reason.

How to Add the Widget

  1. Navigate to your dashboard.
  2. Click the Add widget button in the top right corner.
  3. In the "Add widget" panel, select CRM from the list on the far right.
  4. Choose the Sales Performance section in the middle list.
  5. Select Opportunity Loss Reasons by Owner from the widget list on the left.

Widget Settings

To configure the widget, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the widget and select Settings.

In the settings panel, you can:

  • Widget Name: Change the title of the widget.
  • Filter Settings:
    • Loss Reason: Filter for one or more specific loss reasons.
    • Pipeline: Select one or more sales pipelines to include.
    • Owner: Choose specific owners (managers) to display.
    • Completed Date: Analyze opportunities lost within a specific date range.
    • Add Field: Add other custom fields to your filter criteria.

Widget: Opportunity Loss Reasons

This widget provides a visual summary of all lost opportunities, grouping them by loss reason. It displays the total value and count of all losses, as well as a breakdown for each reason.

How to Add the Widget

  1. Navigate to your Home dashboard.
  2. Click the Add widget button in the top right corner.
  3. In the "Add widget" panel, select CRM from the list on the far right.
  4. Choose the Sales Performance section in the middle list.
  5. Select Opportunity Loss Reasons from the widget list on the left.

Display Options

The widget can be displayed as a pie chart or a bar chart. Use the toggle buttons at the top of the widget to switch between views.

  • Pie Chart: Each segment represents a loss reason. The center shows the total value and count of the displayed losses. You can hover over a segment or its legend entry for more details.
  • Interactive Legend: Click on a loss reason in the legend to remove it from the chart. The total value in the center will update automatically. Click it again to add it back.
  • Bar Chart: Displays each loss reason as a horizontal bar, showing the count of opportunities lost for that reason.

Widget Settings

To configure the widget, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the widget and select Settings.

In the settings panel, you can:

  • Widget Name: Change the title of the widget.
  • Display: Choose the default view (e.g., Pie chart).
  • Filter Settings:
    • Currency: Select the currency for the report (this field is required).
    • Pipeline: Filter for one or more sales pipelines.
    • Created: Filter by the opportunity creation date.
    • Start Date: Filter by the opportunity start date.

Copying and Deleting the Widget

You can Duplicate a widget to create a copy with different filter settings, allowing you to track loss reasons across different pipelines or timeframes on the same dashboard. To copy or remove a widget, open the three-dot menu and select Duplicate or Delete.
