How to Set Up a Custom Domain Name

Set up custom domain to point the default domain for your Flowlu account ( to a custom domain. Only account administrators can configure the custom domain.

Custom domain functionality requires you have an Enterprise subscription plan. It's not available if you are using a trial version of Flowlu.

Step #1. Create a CNAME record

A CNAME record (Canonical Name record) is a type of resource record in the Domain Name System (DNS) that maps one domain name (an alias) to another (the canonical name).

Go to you DNS provider. Create a CNAME record that directs your domain to the default domain for your Flowlu account. For instance, if you want to use the domain for your Flowlu account, create a CNAME record that points to or IP address (you can find it the System Settings of your account).

Generally, when adding a CNAME record you need to enter your custom domain to the Host field and your current Flowlu domain or IP address should be entered to the Value/Target. You can learn more about how to create the CNAME record by exploring your DNS provider's documentation.

Once you create a CNAME record, open and enter your custom domain into the field. Press Search. This will help you to ensure that you've created a CNAME record correctly.

Step #2. Connect the custom domain to your Flowlu account

Go to your Flowlu account. Navigate to System Settings → Main Settings → Custom Domain. Type your custom domain name. Scroll down a page and press Save.

Well done! Your custom domain for Flowlu account is now live.

Please note that when you try to open the page by custom domain for the first time, the page load time may be up to one minute due to SSL certificate creation.
